So some of y'all might remember awhile back I posted about this recurring dream I have,where my house suddenly has tons of secret rooms I never knew about. Someone kindly pointed me to a good dream interpretation of that one, where it signifies new or unexplored talents/opportunities etc.
So at work, I have a BRIEF opportunity to lead a visible, cross-functional team. Was having a blast. Nice unexplored territory for me yadda yadda.
But then... (cuz there's always a But Then...) the boss decides I'm having too much fun on this side task and yanks it away from me. Gives it to someone else and has me working w/ that person (read FOR that person) on what used to be MY PROJECT.
So Last night's dream... (you can see it coming, can't u?) -
My house is no longer my house. I'm renting it now. And all those new hidden rooms? Well the 'landlady' has rented them all out to noisy pain-in-the-butt families. All I have to myself now is a bedroom. The rest of the house is shared w/ these families.
...doesn't get much more symbolic than that, does it.
